Exits to Roosevelt Blvd and Veterans Expressway from I-275 (also counts exits 2A and 3)
Use exit 30 for PIE airport, or exit 39 for Tampa Int'l Airport. If you are going to catch a flight, prepare for any delays on I-275.

Posted 2 miles after exit 30, is this mileage sign. Tampa Int'l Airport (exit 39) is in 7 miles. Tampa (exit 44) is in 11 miles. Lakeland is the next control city, and is in 45 miles via I-4 East. I don't know what fog smoke is, so if you have an answer, comment in the comments section.
Commonly seen on I-275 at the end of the Howard Frankland Bridge, is congestion. This happens when 5 lanes reduce to 3, and merging traffic from SR 589, and more commonly, accidents.

Northbound congestion starts at mile marker 35.5, because of the right 2 lanes becoming Exit Only at exit 39.

The exits for SR 60 and SR 589 (exit 39) is in 3/4 mile. Use any of the 2 right lanes to exit.

Formerly exits 39A/39B, signs for the Veterans Expressway and SR 60 appear here. Use the left lane for SR 589, and the right 2 lanes for SR 60.
The solid white line on the streets means do not pass through the other side of the road. The final signs for SR 60 East appear before the interchange with Spruce Street/TPA Airport.
Now entering SR 589 from I-275 North. As indicated by the sign for the Raymond James Stadium and Steinbrenner Field, use exits 40B or 41A.
Use the left 2 lanes for SR 60 West to Veterans Expressway North. TPA Air Cargo and Clearwater can be accessed as well.
From the side street, here is a look at the Veterans Expressway northbound. Congestion is common heading southbound to I-275.
SR 616/Spruce Street can be accessed by using the next right turn.
